An Enhanced Ethernet Switch that adds eight 100/1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet ports, a development tool for testing and analysing automotive Ethernet. It disconnects at the physical layer and cycles through several in-vehicle network devices in turn, creating virtual point-to-point connections. This solves the problem of devices with different physical interfaces that cannot be connected directly, enables high-speed data transfer and supports gPTP time synchronization. It can be used for automotive Ethernet chip debugging, as a physical simulation node together with simulation software, and for automotive Ethernet sensor debugging.
Compatible with H-MTD and MATEnet automotive Ethernet connectors, matching the physical interfaces of ECUs from different vendors.
Eight 100/1000BASE-T1 ports with configurable master/slave mode for multi-device networks.
The switch is configured visually through desktop software, making ports and switching policies easy to manage.
DIP switches, wired control and USB serial programming suit both bench and in-vehicle environments.
Supports VBAT power for in-vehicle test environments.
Pairs with 1×1000BASE-T and 1×10GBASE-T high-speed Ethernet ports for fast data transfer.
Monitor 100/1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet traffic between in-vehicle ECUs from a PC.
Together with simulation software on a PC, the device provides automotive Ethernet bus signal simulation. The AES 1000 joins the test environment as a physical simulation node with an in-vehicle network channel.
Works with the Datalogger to bypass-log four automotive Ethernet links, monitoring and recording at the same time.
