ZD-DataGrabber CAN/LIN

The ZD-DataGrabber CAN/LIN is designed for logging data from high-volume CAN and LIN sub-bus systems under domain control architectures. It can work as a plug-in device for ZD-Datalogger3 or other third-party data logging devices. Utilizing the industry-leading ASAM CMP standard and the gPTP time synchronization protocol, it ensures high precision of data timestamps and time consistency among different devices in heterogeneous bus systems. Also, it can work as a standalone data logging device to collect and store CAN/CANFD & LIN bus data using the built-in M.2 NVME.

Features

Convenient, compact standalone data logger

As an expansion logging module for the main data logger

Extending the number of CAN/CAN FD, LIN buses for the main data logger

Flexible operation mode switching
Operation as a standalone data logger or as an expansion collection mode for the main data logger
gPTP time synchronization service
As a gPTP slave, it can synchronize to the time of the master device to ensure time consistency in recordings from multiple heterogeneous devices
ASAM CMP data format
Cross-platform compatibility with other products
Internal M.2 storage
High transfer rate, low power consumption, compact storage device

Application Scenario

Application Scenarios
DataGrabber can be used as a stand-alone data logger for high-precision logging of multiple CAN/CAN FD and LIN.
DataGrabber can be used as an expansion acquisition module for the main data logger to expand CAN/CAN FD and LIN buses. Using the CMP protocol, the master and slave devices adopt the same time source to ensure the consistency of recorded data times.
